  Weekly Update Week of May 22, 2023   1  5/22     We have Media Center. 1  5/23   We have art.     5/24   Late Start     5/25   We have gym.       5/26   Friday Field Trip Day !   WORD WORK: This week our class will be learning about adding suffix endings -er and -est to words as in the words big, bigger, biggest.  Students should read their word lists, discuss the meaning of the words, and practice spelling words with similar syllable patterns.  Spelling City is ready for students to access the Unit 24 practice list for the week.   SJ FIELD TRIP: FRIDAY MAY 26th  9:00 – 12:30 Lincoln’s three second grade classes will be visiting the Silver Beach Carousel, touring historical sites on the bluff, and watching the Memorial Day Parade.  The trip will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the carousel and conclude after the parade at approximately 12:30 p.m.   Ou...
