Well, they finally did it!! After a month of trying and getting so close so many times, they have filled the bead jar. They voted to have an outdoor toy day. This means they may bring any human power or electric powered toy that you say yes to. Please remember that a helmet is needed if riding a bike. They also asked to make tomorrow an Everything Goes Day which means candy for snack (no gum) and a mindful toy. As always, please email me with any questions.

Word Work: Our class will be learning about the r-controlled syllable pattern -ar this week. Words that follow this pattern include car, start, artist, and market. Students should read their word lists, discuss the meaning of the words, and practice spelling words with similar syllable patterns.
