BOOK ORDER:  It’s a great time to stock up on books for summer.  I will be sending the paper fliers on Tuesday.   The order for Scholastic will be due on May 18th. Let me know if you have any questions.  Thank you!

COIN DRIVE:  Thank you for supporting our Lincoln School Student Council coin drive to support agencies in our community.  Students are welcome to bring in spare coins for the next few weeks to help Harbor Impact, Corewell Health, and the Berrien County Animal Shelter.

Sack Lunch forms were sent home this past week for our May 31st and June 1st field trips.  It is important for our kitchen staff to know in advance so the necessary food items can be ordered.  Please return your forms by Tuesday, May 2nd if you want your child to have a school sack lunch.  Thank you

SJ FIELD TRIP: FRIDAY MAY 27th  9:00 – 12:30

Lincoln’s three second grade classes will be visiting the Silver Beach Carousel, touring historical sites on the bluff, and watching the Memorial Day Parade.  The trip will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the carousel and conclude after the parade at approximately 12:30 p.m.  Our second graders will ride the carousel twice for  $2.00.  Each student is asked to bring two dollars to cover the cost if possible.  Money is not due until the week of the trip.

Lunch will be at school during our normal 1:00 p.m. time.

**PARENTS ARE WELCOME to attend our field trip.  We ask no siblings to attend the carousel and bluff walk.  This is a special time for our second grade students to learn about our community.  Parents may meet us with siblings at the parade site.  We usually find seating in front of the War Memorials on the bluff side of the street.
